Exploring the Wild Yorkshire Peaks by Train
The Yorkshire Dales Explorer is a new train line. It goes to the beautiful Three Peaks area. You can see big limestone rocks there. The land looks very wild and empty. It is a great place for a long walk.
The train stops at Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Three tall mountains are nearby. These hills are very high. Many people like to hike them. You can walk for many hours here. It is fun to see nature in spring. You might see small birds and baby sheep.
The walk ends in the town of Settle. There are nice pubs for lunch. You can eat food and drink tea. The train is a good way to travel there. It is a perfect trip for a sunny day.
